Our approach is an endless journey.
We explore to design dynamic identity systems.
So, we design.
Founded in Rome in 2010 by Creative Director Emanuele Cappelli, Cappelli Identity Design is a strategic design studio that operates worldwide and in 2021 has opened a new office in Torino in the European OGR Tech innovation hub.
Thanks to the two departments of Design and Strategy – two visions that work in parallel by influencing and interacting with each other – we design multidisciplinary projects from brand identity to marketing strategies and integrated communication.
Values and people make Cappelli Identity Design studio a place of continuous exchanges and contamination, but what distinguishes it from the others is its method. Dynamic brand is a new way of design, it comes from the relationship between space and time and it aims to build up a dialogue with people by communicating the brand’s identity and its changing nature. In 2022 all of this became a book published by Skira.
What is achieved is a strong and coherent identity system, with such distinctive features that it works perfectly even without a logo. Thanks to Dynamic brand, the vertical scheme no longer exists, the architecture of communication becomes integrated.

Our workplace is a sensible ambiance that mirrors and shapes our way-of-being.
You're always welcome.
In 2019 April, Cappelli Identity Design buys and goes for the renovation of a residence in the historical district of San Giovanni, Rome downtown.
The renovation project was really ambitious: a technical as well as administrative challenge. The concept, design, and the general "ambiance" of the Studio were in the spanish architect Iris Pedro Tatay and Emanuele Cappelli hands.
The Studio had to be not only the headquarters of Cappelli Identity Design but also a place of cultural and creative sharing. Also, it required to be a stay for artists and young scholars.
So, the Studio is thought and run as open-space, in pure minimal style with an industrial nuance. High ceilings and large windows provide a lot of natural light and air. The main color palette is white and blue composed: the white walls convey a plain texture in which blue components show off like energy slashes.
The place is fitted to keep ideas and plannings flying throughout. Talks and glances are always desirable here. Keeping tied bodies and brains helps to get more from people as well as growing together. That's our first teamwork commitment.
Since opening, the Studio welcomes artworks such as paintings, posters, sculptures, rarities, and it provides a big bookcase with significative publications in Design, Strategy and Communication. Lifelong research and human/professional development is pivotal in Cappelli Identity Design, and everybody can take time to keep growing, sharing knowledge, supporting integration.
