EUknow.it is an evolution of the Italian publishing project Guida all’Europrogettazione (Guide to Europlanning), which aims to make European funds and programmes more accessible by promoting a culture of shared knowledge and responsible planning. The new name combines two key concepts: ‘EU‘, as in Europe, and ‘know‘, as in knowledge and expertise. The naming also evokes the phrase “you know it” through its pronunciation, expressing the project’s objective of knowledge for planning in an immediate and direct manner: knowledge for planning.
We have developed a Dynamic brand that translates the complexity of the European system into an accessible, generative visual language. The logo is structured in three parts — EU, Know, .it — with knowledge at its core. Fluid and variable shapes, generated by a dedicated script, represent continuous knowledge evolution, while the stable circle on the left symbolises solid foundations.
The colour palette defines the three main areas of the platform — Manual, Programmes and Insights — and guides users with an intuitive, consistent navigation system. The vibrant, overlapping shapes create a colourful identity that is present across all touchpoints, from the multilingual web platform and newsletter to social media and the campaigns that will tell the project’s story.
EUknow.it is a partnership project promoted by the Fondazione CRT, together with ACRI (the Association of Foundations and Savings Banks), ASVAPP (the Association for the Development of Evaluation and Analysis of Public Policies), and Filiera Futura, involving nine Italian banking foundations: Fondazione Cariplo, Fondazione Caritro – Cassa di Risparmio di Trento e Rovereto, Fondazione Cariverona, Fondazione CRC – Cassa di Risparmio di Cuneo, Fondazione CR Firenze, Fondazione CRT, Fondazione di Sardegna and Sparkasse Foundation.
