Care and respect for the person’s dignity are fundamental in any community context. What impact do my choices have on the community?

To be good to do well is not a play on words but a seemingly simple thought from which Adriano Olivetti’s industrial philosophy takes shape and has inspired entire communities of designers and creatives after him.

As part of the Graphic Days® – In the city calendar, the international festival of visual and social design in Turin, the Cappelli Identity Design studio, starting from research at the Archivio Storico Olivetti Association, has proposed an experiential workshop aimed at young people. The workshop was focused on giving back in practice the virtuous thought of Adriano Olivetti, who theorised how creativity and our relationship with the community take shape from a sense of happiness.

Speakers:

Emanuele Cappelli, Designer & Founder of Cappelli Identity Design

Fabio Zanino, Head of Communication & External Relations of Cappelli Identity Design

Annalisa Gallo, Lecturer, Museum Educator & Cultural Heritage Restorer

The event was promoted by Cappelli Identity Design in collaboration with Associazione Archivio Storico Olivetti and held on 29 September 2022 at OGR Torino – Spazio Dinamo, Turin, Italy.

We thank the students and teachers of the Liceo Classico e Musicale Cavour in Turin for sharing this experience with us.
