The Guide to Europlanning is a free online digital tool, which enables users to find their way around the complex system of Community funds and European projects.

Cappelli Identity Design focused on enhancing the user experience and on improving the communication of the guide’s contents in order to make them more accessible to users. This was the main objective in designing the new Guide website and the email marketing and social campaigns.

Usability, accessibility and information efficiency are the keywords behind the new digital communication. By focusing on improving the browsing experience through redesigning the UX and UI (User Experience and User Interface), the website restyling has seen some new graphic features and visual choices designed to deepen specific on-page content. With new focus sections and the “hot topics” function, which suggests the most frequently read topics to visitors, communication has become more streamlined, structured, and close to the needs of those working in the field of europlanning and, more generally, to anyone interested in the world of European planning.

The Digital Corporate Identity was redesigned in pastel shades to convey a sense of comfort and institutional elegance. While in designing social formats, colours are used to enable users to distinguish between different contents and to better direct people within the multitude of information in the Guide.

The basis of social communication is a content strategy that focuses on the value of the relationship between the users and the brand, and their exchange of contents. Among the objectives is the expansion of the community in terms of quality and quantity. The first results are already very positive, both with regard to the number of subscribers to the newsletter (+28% in one month), and to the responses to the Survey campaign. This specific survey was sent out to the Guide’s public, therefore making it possible to increase the level of profiling and to approach the interests and needs of the Guide’s audience.

The Guide to Europlanning involves Fondazione CRT, Fondazione Cariplo, Fondazione CRC, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Trento e Rovereto, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Perugia, Fondazione Cariverona, Fondazione CR Firenze, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano and ACRI.


The project developed by Cappelli Identity Design has renewed the digital presence of the Guide to Europlanning by adding contemporaneity and new features to our user’s digital experience.
